As my website will expand i will add more tips and hints as i go along,

These masks are very flexible and will adhere to most surfaces, but one point to note is that the body must be clean - clean - and cleaner still.

My method of cleaning a shell is to use a good washing up liquid and a nice soft sponge and i clean the body at least 3 times, doing this takes no time at all but removes any grease or moulding residue, i then use kitchen towel to dry - one that has very little fibre output.

Once the body is clean and before i apply the masks i use my airbrush to blow out the body just in case there are any dust particles,

A good tip to notice is - if the body has a protective covering it is a good thing to mark the corners of the windows - wheel arches - ect this help you visualise the placement of your window masks and wheel masks. Also if you cut out the masks i supply complete with backing  mark a few points on the mask and and holding the mask inside the bodyshell and tranfer the marks to the position you require - dont forget to mark both sides of the car as this allows for positional correctness. Once that is done peel of the backing taking your time and then use the premarked points to position.

Once in position use a soft cloth to rub them down and peel of the application tape - please take your time as sometimes the masks may lift if not rubbed on and when peeling of application tape keep it low and pull very slowly. Once the app/tape is removed go over the mask very carefully with a soft cloth making sure all is pressed on the body shell.

Once the masks are in place your ready to paint - now this is the time to take your time dont be heavy handed with the airbrush or spray fine coats make for a very good paint job, when you have sprayed the main body and left to dry for a while you are ready to paint the masked area.

As some of my masks have outlines these can be left till last to paint so remove the internal mask first - spray your colour scheme wait untill dry then remove the outline and spray.

One tip i do as to spraying the mask areas is when the main body is dry i use a hair drier just for a few secs on the masks this shrinks then very very slightly and help not to get paint pull when removing them as some paint can do this. MASKED CAR
